- Confirm, and it's releasedCheck the work, then confirm to release the payment. Once the provider marks the job done, you have 48 hours: we'll remind you, and if you don't respond, it's released automatically. If something's wrong, raise an issue and the payment stays frozen while we sort it out.

It isn't a badge anyone can give themselves. Here's what we check, and when.
Every provider
Photo ID and a selfie
Checked by an identity verification partner before a provider's first offer. Heyvie can't mark anyone as verified by hand.
Electrical, plumbing and gas
Licence on the official register
Checked before a provider can offer on that work: Energy Safe Victoria for electricians, the Building and Plumbing Commission for plumbing and gas, class by class. If a licence expires, that work locks until it's renewed.

Required for services where children may be present, such as newcomer support.

Questions people ask
Is Heyvie open yet?
Not yet. We're signing up providers for the Melbourne pilot in Q4 2026, then opening to customers. Register and we'll let you know when your area opens.
Who holds my money?
A licensed Australian payment provider holds it, not Heyvie's own bank account. We'll name them publicly before we take a single payment.
What if the work isn't good enough?
Raise an issue instead of confirming. The payment stays frozen while the Heyvie team looks at the photos, messages and job details from both sides and works it out with you.
Do providers need insurance and an ABN?
To send offers, every provider verifies their ID, and licensed work also needs a licence we've checked. Insurance and ABN show on every offer, so you can choose an insured provider. Providers who don't have them yet can still register, and we'll help them get set up.
How much does it cost?
Posting a job is free. When you book, a service fee is added and shown in full before you pay. Providers see exactly what they'll take home before they send an offer.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and before the job starts, you get a full refund, including the fee.
Are all the providers Vietnamese?
Heyvie is built for the Vietnamese community, and you can use all of it in Vietnamese. Providers are accepted on their ID and licences, not their background, and anyone can hire through Heyvie.
